SME training: how to become a social entrepreneur

What does it mean to be a social entrepreneur in the Philippines? What can you, as SME owner, do extra to create positive impact to your community and wider environment? All relevant questions for the training held in the 3rd quarter of this year.

Together with NPFC we organized this training both in Manila and in Cebu, due to great demand from the SME owners. It is one of the many steps we aim to take to create future proof SMES; SMEs that are better able to foresee the demand of the market and thus great sustainable growth in the long run

First training in the Philippines!

We are proud to announce that in March 2014 we have held our first training in the Philippines. Together with our partner NPFC we have trained over 27 SME owners in Financial Management. SME owners who received a loan through Lendahand mesofinance are able to attend the trainings, designed and financed by Lendahand and NPFC. 27 entrepreneurs were trained on the latest tax requirements and benefits, tips for a healthier financial administration and other financing options.
